Cancellation Policy

By booking an appointment with CatSnip Grooming, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 1.Pet health Cats must be fit and healthy, and free from contagious illness, disease or parasites. Please inform us of any medical conditions, medication, skin issues or behavioural concerns prior to grooming. CatSnip grooming reserves the right to refuse service if a cat shows signs of illness, aggression or infestation. 2.Coat condition Severe matting may require shaving of your cat. This can reveal areas of irritation or skin conditions not visible beforehand. CatSnip grooming is not liable for any post grooming effects due to pre-existing conditions, matting or coat neglect. In the event of an emergency, you authorise CatSnip to contact the nearest Vet to treat the cat as necessary, at the owner’s expense. Every effort is made to groom the cat to owner’s request, but final results may vary depending on coat type, coat condition, and cat’s temperament. 3.Safety and handling The safety and wellbeing of your cat is our top priority. If the cat becomes highly stressed or aggressive, grooming may be stopped or adjusted. Protective gloves and sleeves may be worn by the groomer and a soft or plastic collar may be applied to your cat for safety. Owners accept that grooming can involve the use of scissors, clippers and dryers and that nicks, skin irritation or reactions can occasionally occur. You authorise CatSnip grooming to administer basic first aid, if required. 4.Appointments and cancellations Please have cat present in time for appointment. If the appointment is in your own home, please ensure the cat is in a room where it feels comfortable with minimal hiding spots or opportunities to escape. At least 24 hours is required for cancellation. Short notice cancellations and no shows may incur a fee or loss of pre paid deposit. 5. Liability CatSnip grooming will take every precaution to protect your pet and look after it as though it is one of their own. However, grooming is taken at owner’s own risk. CatSnip grooming is not responsible for any underlying health issues, injuries or conditions that may arise during or after grooming. If you have any concerns around your cat’s health prior to or after grooming, please consult with your vet. 6. Payment A deposit is required to secure booking. Full payment is required on completion of each grooming session. Prices may vary depending on the cat’s coat, condition, behaviour and time taken
